Flow Kayaks pride themselves on providing the best kayak technology for each of it’s individual clients. Everybody’s experience when kayaking is affected by what they feel when they are on the water, a negative experience can very quickly impair an individuals’ confidence, motivation and perception of risk in kayaking. To prevent this and promote consistent positive adventures, Flow Kayaks aim for all our clients to feel as comfortable and safe as ever when paddling with our products, whilst having an ultimate amount of fun at the same time. Whether that’s sending steep, alpine creeks and big volume rivers, to everyone’s favourite home runs and those more relaxed days out with good friends.
Jake and Steve have collaborated their skills, expertise and knowledge to create Flow Kayaks.
Jake has been kayaking for around 15 years, originally competing in Slalom and later moving on to international competitive freestyle paddling. In the 2018 GB Freestyle Team Selections he placed 5th and 8th in the two competitions, giving him a place on the GB Freestyle Squad, he is also a member of the Immersion Research Europe Team. Jake has also been a kayak coach since the age of 16 and studied a degree in Outdoor Activity Leadership and Coaching at the University of Derby. Jake has spent his recent years raft guiding and kayaking everywhere he can.
Steve is an experienced business Director, both technically and commercially. Steve has a passion for sailing but is developing a real interest in other water sports.
