Flow Kayaks Founders Story

It's been over seven years since I began a journey that led to the creation of our business. In 2017, whilst working as a white water raft guide Nottingham, UK and competing internationally in Kayak Freestyle, I noticed a lack of availability and diversity in the range of paddle sports products available in the Midlands and also the UK. 

This led to the creation of Flow Kayaks in early 2018. We were fiercely motivated in bringing you the very best and most exciting paddle sports products available from all around the world. Over time, driven by the same commitment and along with the valued and knowledgable addition of Tamsyn, our company have grown from a micro distribution brand to trusted retailers, both in our Nottingham showroom and online. 

We still supply a collection of leading brands, including EXO Kayaks, ZET Kayaks, Prijon Kayaks, Melker Kayaks, TNP Paddles, Select Paddles and GUIGUI-Prod to other paddlesports retailers around the UK and Ireland!

Our mission remains simple: We do our best to guide and inspire you to make the most of your time out on the water. We strongly believe paddle sports supports a healthy active lifestyle, along with many metal benefits and we want to help more people to find an accessible community in paddle sports. Therefore we only stock and supply trusted, market leading brands or new innovating products that provide value and that we use on the water ourselves!
