Description & Useful Information
Fast, straight tracking but still with the hint of playfulness that all our kayaks are famous for; the longer waterline of the Valley Etain ensures that performance is maintained and that handling remains predictable, even when laden.
The Valley Etain was designed intentionally with a very neutral hull-form i.e. Not aggressively swede-form (associated with racing kayaks) or fish-form (associated with many older sea kayak designs). This gives the kayak predictable handling and a balanced feel, irrespective of the conditions being paddled. Also having the widest point at the paddler’s hips, you’ll also notice a real sense of connection between what you do and how the kayak reacts, making it an efficient but also rewarding kayak to paddle. Other design features include a hull with a shallow to moderately ‘V’d’ keel for good initial stability, a long waterline length to promote forward speed and just enough rocker to give a good balance between tracking and maneuverability,
The Valley Etain is designed to appeal to paddlers looking for an enjoyable to paddle, expedition-capable kayak that has a good turn of speed and tracks well. Already proven on several major expeditions, including: Justine Curgenven’s 2014 Kayaking The Aleutian Adventure.

Website, email and telephone orders are processed and dispatched the same day (no dispatch on Sunday). Sunday's orders are dispatched Monday morning.
Clothing, kit and other boxed goods are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard. This is usually free for orders over £25. There is an option to add next day (Tracked 24) at checkout for an additional fee.
Inflatable SUPs and Kayaks are shipped on a DHL next day service, this is also free.
Kayaks and Canoes are usually hand delivered by ourselves Monday - Sunday, within 7 days of order. We will contact you to arrange the delivery slot. This is free if the delivery is in England and Wales. There is a fee of £65.00 for Scotland and Northern Ireland, these may also come via trusted courier.
Paddles will come via DHL or DX and other trusted couriers on a next working day service.
Click and Collect is free from our Nottingham shop and items are usually ready within an hour. If you'd like to check that you can make a same day pick up, please call us on 01156480631.
What is your returns policy?
60-Day Returns Period
You can return your item(s) within 60 days of the purchase date. To qualify for a return, the item must be:
In its original condition, unused, and undamaged in a re-saleable condition.
Accompanied by the original proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
Refunds
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible upon receiving your returned item, please allow up to 5 working days from the received delivery back at our warehouse.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
How to Return an Item
Bring the item to our store or send it back via a trackable shipping service to ensure safe delivery. Include your proof of purchase, if available. If you are shipping the item back to us, please note that you are responsible for the shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
