Hello everyone! We’re super excited to announce the launch of the Flow Kayaks blog space. As I’m sure many of you know, Flow started out almost 6 years ago, out of a passion for paddlesports and a desire to get the best gear on the market into the UK. Over time, Flow Kayaks has grown, we’ve had the opportunity to meet and help a whole load more of you UK paddlesports enthusiasts, and 3 years ago we even finally set up a bricks and mortar shop. In all of that, the goal has remained the same - to bring the best gear to you guys, and share our passion for paddlesports.

So why have we started a blog? Simple! We wanted to. A lot of what we do isn’t just about the sport or the kit, it’s about a lifestyle and about the community. Hopefully, this blog will be a space for us to connect as a community and share some stories. With that in mind, here’s some of what you can expect to see appearing here:
- Team Paddler Features: Meet the incredible individuals who make up our team of paddlers. Learn about their favourite spots, go-to gear, and the moments that keep them coming back for more.
- Trips and Adventures: Discover new kayaking destinations, from serene lakes to challenging rapids. We'll share itineraries, insider tips, and breathtaking stories from our own adventures.
- Community Stories: We want to hear from you! Share your kayaking tales, triumphs, and even the occasional mishap. This blog is a platform for our community to connect and celebrate the shared love for paddling, so reach out if there’s something you’d like us to shout about.
- Expert Tips and Tricks: Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your skills or an experienced paddler seeking new challenges, our blog will feature tips and tricks from seasoned experts to elevate your kayaking.
- And my personal favourite genre of blogpost:
Nonsensical satire: Articles such as ‘How to get away with kayaking - the cheat sheet’. Why keep things serious all the time, eh?!
We’re stoked about the possibilities of where this could go, so let us know if there’s something you want us to write about, or if you want to share something with us! In the meantime: happy paddling, stay safe, and thanks for reading.
